Sundays rarely come by which is followed by otherwise calendar-packed week. The usual sunset from my balcony seemed too routine, So, I decided to switch up the scene set out for a better sunset view from Manchanabele Dam Top Viewpoint.
Leaving the traffic of the city behind, I set out on my motorcycle, chasing open roads and the promise of a tranquil sunset. The journey itself is a refreshing break: long stretches of quiet countryside, with the anticipation of nature’s grandeur at the end of it.

That evening, seated by the reservoir, I found the rare kind of peace that feels earned after a good ride. The sounds of the city were a distant memory, replaced by the soft whispers of evening breezes and the tranquil silence of nature.
